Karen DeSoto used her free time to visit students at Borough of Manhattan Community College during the Hispanic Heritage Month event.
She has always embraced her Hispanic heritage — in 2011 Karen was named to the list ‘Hispanics on The Move‘ by Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine, and in 2014 named Attorney of the Year by Heritage Foundations committee during the Puerto Rican Parade.
